Ebook {Epub PDF} The Company by K.J. Parker

 · The Company by K. J. Parker: Book Review. A group of comrades-in-arms have almost all gone back to live in the rural area where they came from. Some are faring better than others but they all seem to be at a loss as to what to do with themselves now that the war is over.  · The enigmatic K.J. Parker has done it again with The Company - a one-off, strangely-philosophical fantasy. Parker has already proven his/her ability to write deeply-troubling low fantasy (including occasional dives into the outright macabre), but in The Company, Parker consciously sets out to explore the more depressing aspects of the human spirit/5(5).  · The Company by KJ Parker Published by Orbit UK, October Pages ISBN: (ARC copy received.) So: the war’s over, the soldiers return home – what happens next? K J Parker’s latest standalone novel examines such a situation, not often looked at but one clearly relevant in a Fantasy world: what happens to soldiers after the war is over?/5.

Review: Axiom's End by Lindsay Ellis. In the pitch dark, witty fantasy novella Prosper's Demon, K. J. Parker deftly creates a world with vivid, unbending rules, seething with demons, broken faith, and worse men. In a botched demonic extraction, they say the demon feels it ten times worse than the man. But they don't die, and we do. K. J. Parker. Read online.
